One marriage tilts the city- Chapter 8

He held my hand and bent his knees, kneeling on the ground. His attitude was very sincere.

"Darling, we are finally together. We swore at our wedding that we would spend the rest of our lives together. Please don't divorce me. I'll change everything I did wrong. I'll change, okay?"

His eyes looked like he was begging. He frowned and pursed his lips. He was panicking, like a child lost in the dark.

His pitiful look touched the softest part of my heart. But the thought of divorce was lingering in my mind. I couldn't get rid of it.

I sighed and didn't answer. Ling Feng took the opportunity to hug me tightly. He repeated his apology and whispered in my ear, "It's all my fault."

"I've been working on a big project lately. I'm very busy in the company and I have to deal with my boss's mood. That's why I'm like this today. I'll treat you better from now on. I won't let you suffer anymore. "

My heart was filled with complicated emotions.

After that day, Ling Feng treated me better than ever before. Every day was as intimate as our honeymoon. Every time my mother-in-law saw us together, she made fun of me. "You stay with my son every day, but I don't see you giving birth. I heard that if you have too many children, your womb will be so damaged that you won't be able to have any more children.

Then she looked me over from head to toe.

Although her words were not pleasant to hear, it was true that we didn't have a child. As a daughter-in-law, my heart ached when I heard this. Besides, Ling Feng was spoiling me more and more. In the end, I wanted to have a child.

One day, I went to the pharmacy to buy some fertility pills. As soon as Ling Feng came home, I put on an eye-catching lingerie and climbed on top of him. I pulled his neck and grinned. "Our life is stable now. We should have a child! I don't want to keep my mother in law waiting. "

He was stunned and his breathing became ragged. He held my waist and kissed my forehead. Just as I was about to kiss his sensitive spot, he suddenly pushed me back and stretched. The atmosphere that had just begun was suddenly ruined.

He was half serious, half joking. "My back hurts from all the paperwork I've been doing lately. I still have to do it with you when I get home. Do you want me to be so weak that I can't even straighten my back?"

I sensed something was wrong. I frowned and started to ask, but Ling Feng was one step ahead of me. He placed his index finger next to my lips and gestured for me to shut up. "Let me tell you something even better than giving birth. I got promoted today."

His eyebrows were arched and his joy was radiant. I felt good watching him.

We didn't have a baby that night, but I didn't give up. I gave him the pills and begged him again and again. He either refused me or used tiredness as an excuse. Occasionally he would be intimate with me, but he wouldn't touch me.
