One marriage tilts the city- Chapter 9

As soon as the thought crossed my mind, I was terrified. If that was the case, I didn't know how to face my broken marriage.

Just as I was thinking about stalking Ling Feng, Fang Yin suddenly contacted me.

It was Friday and I didn't have any classes in the afternoon, so I went home early. I was painting my nails when the phone rang When I saw the number, my hand trembled.

My mother-in-law had gone out to do the shopping and Ling Feng hadn't come home from work yet. He called me a few times, but I didn't answer. So Fang Yin sent me a WeChat message threatening me. "See you at the same place tonight. If you don't come, I can't guarantee that the news will not spread."

When I saw the message, I gritted my teeth and almost smashed my phone. I thought about it and hesitated. In the end, I didn't have a choice.

Finally, before my mother-in-law returned, I called Ling Feng and told him that my best friend had fallen out of love again and I had to accompany her tonight. Then I pulled myself together and went to the hotel with my ID card. Gritting my teeth, I waited for Fang Yin.

god knew how guilty I felt about lying to the man next to me. How many times had I humiliated myself in my heart? How many disgusting words had I used to describe myself?

After checking into a room, I sent him my room number. On the other hand, he ordered me to clean up first.

I swallowed my shame and went to the bathroom. No sooner had I wrapped a towel around my waist than the doorbell rang. I hesitated for a long time before opening the door. In the end, I thought of the consequences if he told everyone. My hands shook as I opened the door.

"Why did you come out so quickly? Did your husband not satisfy you during this time?"

As soon as I opened the door, I saw Fang Yin's handsome face.

At that moment, an overwhelming wave of regret washed over me. I regretted it so much that my guts turned green.

A wave of shame washed over me. I gritted my teeth and was about to slam the door. But he seemed to have seen through my intention. He pushed against the door and stopped it. "It's too late for regrets now."

He burst through the door and grabbed my wrist, closing the door behind him. Then I bumped into a firm chest. His voice was accompanied by a strong heartbeat.

"You should have known there would be a second time."

Then a pair of ice-cold palms drilled into my back. A wave of fear washed over me. I felt as if a poisonous snake had wrapped itself around me. My scalp went numb and my body began to shake.

I couldn't help but shudder at the thought of another night like last time.

He buried his head in the nape of my neck. His steady, heavy breathing pattered against my body. I panicked and felt my cheeks suddenly burning.
